At the meeting, you will hear presentations from subcommittees about federal programs designed to prevent and treat diabetes. We will also discuss new recommendations for the NCCC's final report, which is set for release in 2021. Attendees will also have a chance to provide public comment.
The National Clinical Care Commission ("the Commission" or "NCCC") evaluates federal programs related to complex metabolic or autoimmune diseases that result from insulin-related issues and represent a significant disease burden in the United States. Based on this evaluation, the NCCC provides recommendations, as appropriate, to Congress and the Secretary for Health and Human Services.
