We’re bringing awareness to diabetes and how as little as $25 can make a lasting impact in the lives of millions.

World Health Day is coming up this Sunday, Friend. It’s an important moment that serves as a global platform to raise awareness about health issues affecting communities worldwide—like the diabetes epidemic.

For 83 years, the American Diabetes Association^® (ADA) has been leading the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and fighting for those affected by this disease. But we can’t go at it alone. That’s why we’re calling on you today.

A donation from you in honor of World Health Day will help us make critical headway to combat this deadly disease that affects millions of Americans every day.

So please, will you give $25 now to support our efforts to share diabetes resources in the communities of the 136 million Americans living with diabetes or prediabetes? Or, if you can spare more today:

We’re calling on YOU to help us fight diabetes one step at a time by participating in Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes^®, the premier walking fundraising event of the American Diabetes Association^® (ADA). Your participation advances the ADA’s mission by:

Want to get involved? April 3 is National Walking Day and we’re inviting you to tie up your shoelaces and walk with purpose by registering for your local Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes event. Sign up for events from April–November, or join us virtually from anywhere for our nationwide event in September.

Explore the many ways you can participate—as an individual, part of a team, or a team captain—to raise funds and make a difference in the lives of millions impacted by diabetes. Your involvement helps us continue our lifesaving work to make breakthroughs in research and provide people with the resources they need in the fight to end diabetes.

April Advocacy: Autism Acceptance Month

In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, we're hitting the road to connect with YOU. Our stories connect us – to our loved ones, strangers, and the world around us. Through our #RoadToAcceptance project, we're exploring moments of acceptance, diverse challenges, and how the Autism community creates connections everyday.

The Road to Acceptance project is part of the Autism Society’s greater efforts to #CelebrateDifferences for Autism Acceptance Month, and is made possible by Goodnites®. By asking our community questions about health, safety, employment, and other key topics, we can amplify the voices of individuals with Autism and their families, to create a more inclusive society.
