Help Us Support the 195% Increase in Helpline Inquiries

August is Make-A-Will Month which encourages us to plan ahead to ensure we have a sustainable, secure future to support the Autism community and to live fully.

Dear Hcis,

Last year, our network fielded 133,000 phone calls and emails from Autistic individuals and families in need of support; our National Helpline saw a 195% increase in outreach from the year prior. As a loyal friend of the Autism Society of America, you have contributed greatly to our ability to expand and support our community. We need you to fulfill our vision: to connect people to the resources they need, when they need it.

“Patience and empathy plus useful resources are extremely valuable and mean the world right now, thank you so much for the kindness and understanding.” ~ National Helpline Caller

For those interested in ongoing support, we have partnered with FreeWill, a no-cost bequest planning tool, where donors can bequeath a portion of their estate to a nonprofit in their will. August is National Make-A-Will Month which encourages us to plan ahead to ensure we have a sustainable, secure future to support the Autism community and to live fully.

Please visit www.FreeWill.com/AutismSociety to start your will for free and easily designate a portion of your estate to the Autism Society of America. If you have already named the Autism Society of America as a beneficiary in your will, please let us know so we can include you as a member of the 1965 Society, an exclusive club reserved for our most generous donors. You can email Anli Lee at alee@autism-society.org with questions or updates.

Thank you for being such an important supporter of the Autism Society.

Through your continued partnership, we can lay the groundwork for a world where everyone in the Autism community will be empowered with the support needed throughout their lives.

Sincerely,
