Friend, nearly half of all American adults have either diabetes or prediabetes. Half. Let that sink in.

So, when it comes to our mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes, this fight is personal—and we can only win it together. That’s why we’re asking for your help today.

We set an important $150,000 end-of-year fundraising goal to fuel our efforts to end diabetes once and for all—and to help us reach it, a generous donor, Marilyn Stiglitz, is 4X-MATCHING all gifts up to $150k. So please, will you donate right now to have your tax-deductible gift go FOUR TIMES as far to save lives?

Because of generous supporters like you stepping up during moments like this, the ADA has been able to:

  • Support nearly 50,000 people annually through our Center for Information.

  • Welcome over 11,000 attendees at the ADA’s 83rd Scientific Sessions—our annual conference on diabetes research and care.

  • Host over 100,000 campers, families, and volunteers in 74 years of ADA Camp.

  • And so much more!

As we look to the new year ahead, there’s no shortage of work left to do, and we’re relying on your support to power our lifesaving efforts forward. But we’re still falling short of our important end-of-year goal, so please, can we count on you to take full advantage of this match opportunity right away?

Any amount makes a difference! Donate right now to have your tax-deductible gift 4X-MATCHED for the millions of people living with diabetes and their caregivers.

Making our voices count

With only a few days left in the year, I want to spotlight our crucial public policy and advocacy work.

Dear Hcis,

With only a few days left in the year, I want to spotlight our crucial public policy and advocacy work.

I’d also like to ask you to please make your year-end gift as we close out 2023.

The Autism Society has made big strides in advancing public policy to benefit individuals with Autism, their families, and caregivers. With your support, we’ve been able to:

  • Mobilize more than 600 advocates to send letters to Congress, urging representatives to authorize a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ban on electric shock devices.

  • Promote and advance state policies focused on increased safety for individuals with Autism.

  • Petition members of Congress to advance the crucial Transformation to Competitive Integrated Employment Act (TCIEA).

  • Advocate for increased federal funding to support critical programs including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), early intervention, respite care, and the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act (DD Act).

Our voices matter Hcis. But in order to actually be heard by policymakers, we must have a strong collective voice to advocate on behalf of the Autism community. Your generosity helps make that possible.

As we close out our year-end fundraising for 2023, will you make your gift and help strengthen our public policy and advocacy work — along with all of our programs and services?

GIVE TODAY

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to advance our mission and improve the lives of everyone on the spectrum.

Sincerely,
