Dear Hcis, Thanks to you, over 650,000 people impacted by autism will be served by the Autism Society this year. On behalf of those served, thank you for ensuring that the services we provide support individuals where they live and work across our 80 affiliates throughout the nation. More importantly, you are helping to impact those living with autism by helping individuals become self-sufficient, independent, and improve their communication skills.
About a year ago, we met Caroline, a mom who has an autistic son. Her nine-year-old son kept finding himself in the principal's office. She felt frustrated, helpless and overwhelmed. Then she connected with an Autism Source™ Specialist at the Autism Society's National Contact Center and everything changed. Caroline was finally armed with the tools and resources to advocate for her son. She partnered with the school to create a positive and more inclusive learning environment. Today, her son Donivan likes going to school and Caroline has the information she needs to support Donivan.

Today, we're launching our 2018 Year-End Campaign. Our goal is to help additional individuals and families get access to the resources and tools they need through our National Contact Center and across our affiliates. You see, even though we will help over 650,000 people this year, there are still millions of individuals we couldn't help because we don't have the resources to do so.
That's why our goal for this campaign is to raise $300,000 by December 31st. If we raise that amount, we'll be able to provide resources, education, and sensory-friendly events to more people this year than last year. We need your support to make it happen.
