  • HHS/National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR): Webinar. Oral Health in America: Advances and Challenges - Developing the 2020 Surgeon General's Report on Oral Health. This webinar will update the public on the status of the upcoming Surgeon General's Report on Oral Health, and to request public input to help guide development of the report.

  • Van Ameringen Foundation: Mental Health Grants. Supports programs that increase the accessibility of mental-health services to the underserved, advance preventive and early-intervention strategies, and advocate for systemic change. Eligibility is limited to non-profits in metropolitan New York and Philadelphia.

  • Ben & Jerry's FoundationGrassroots Organizing for Social Change Program. Supports organizations that work to bring about progressive social change by addressing the underlying conditions of societal and environmental determinants of health.

Scholarships / Fellowships

  • Jackie Robinson Foundation: Mentoring and Leadership Development Program. Provides scholarships to minority high school students to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.

  • Oncology Nursing Foundation: Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral Scholarships. Provides financial assistance to individuals who are interested in and committed to oncology nursing.

  • National Indian Health BoardHealth Policy Fellowship. Fellows will work directly with their Tribal leadership to identify one priority health issue, learn how to analyze policy in their issue area, create informed recommendations, and advocate for change. Eligibility is limited to American Indian/Alaska Native youth (18-24) who are an enrolled member of a federally recognized Tribe.

NIH researchers seek women 18 years or older with histologically confirmed, newly diagnosed advanced cervical cancer. Researchers seek women 18 years or older with a colposcopically and biopsy confirmed grade 3 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. In recognition of Glaucoma Awareness Month, the Knowledge Center recommends the report The Economic Impact of Vision Problems: The Toll of Major Adult Eye Disorders, Visual Impairment and Blindness in the U.S. Economy. The document explores the financial burden caused by vision problems such as glaucoma, as well as refractive errors, visual impairment, and blindness. The report was created to help policymakers understand the cost of treating vision problems and the important of supporting policies related to prevention.
