There's only one week left to enter! The National Institutes of Health is inviting students aged 16 to 18 years old to participate in the "Speaking Up About Mental Health!" essay contest.

Encourage the students in your life to submit an entry today through Challenge.gov for a chance to win awards from a prize pool of $7,000.

Essays should explore ways to address the stigma and social barriers that adolescents, especially those from racial and ethnic minority populations, may face when seeking mental health treatment.

The deadline for entries is May 31, 2019
