The U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID's) Center for Innovation and Impact (CII) and the UBS Optimus Foundation invite you to join us Monday, June 17, from 10 am – 12 pm at UBS Offices in New York City for a conversation with key stakeholders on best practices in innovative financing for global health and development.

The panel of experts will discuss the role of private capital and impact investing in development, provide examples of how these approaches are being applied currently, as well as look to the future to see what new innovative financing approaches are being considered to achieve development goals.

The event will highlight the recently launched CII report: Unleashing Private Capital for Global Health Innovation: Innovator and Investor Support Opportunities. Reaching the health related SDGs will require greater financing, especially from the private capital front, and financing, not just for existing interventions, but also for continued innovation. The report seeks to understand both innovator challenges in successfully attracting private capital to scale their solutions and investor challenges to deploying more private capital in the global health sector.
