  • HHS/Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): Grant. Tribal Opioid Response Grants. Eligibility is limited to Federally-recognized Tribes and Tribal organizations. Tribes and Tribal organizations may elect to apply as part of a consortia or in partnership with urban American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) organizations.

  • HHS/Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS): Cooperative agreement. Substance Use Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act: Section 1003 Demonstration Project to Increase Substance Use Provider Capacity. Eligibility is limited to state governments.

  • U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)/Food and Nutrition Service: Cooperative agreement. WIC Special Project Innovation (WSPI) Grant. The role of WSPI will be to award sub-grants to state and local WIC agencies to develop tools and/or technical resources, modernize or redesign clinic processes or develop program enhancements that improve customer service in WIC clinics.

  • U.S. Department of the Treasury/Community Development Financial Institutions: Grant. Capital Magnet Fund Program. Supports the development, rehabilitation or purchase of affordable housing for low-income families, as well as economic development activities or community service facilities that stabilize or revitalize a low-income or underserved area.

  • U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Grant. Mainstream Voucher Program. Mainstream vouchers are a subset of the Housing Choice Voucher program that are awarded competitively to serve non-elderly persons with disabilities. Eligibility is limited to public housing authorities or AI/AN public housing authorities.

  • Seattle Indian Health Board/Urban Indian Health Institute: e-Learning course. HIV Care and Sexual Health Assessment for American Indian and Alaska Native Patients. After completing this four-module online course, participants will be able to describe best practices for quality, inclusive sexual health assessment and basic HIV prevention, testing and treatment, as well as best practices in providing sexual health care for LGBTQ and Two Spirit patients.   • American Public Health Association (APHA), in collaboration with the NIH National Cancer Institute (NCI): Call for proposals for a special issue of the American Journal of Public Health on health misinformation on social media. This special issue will focus on four main content areas: health misinformation surveillance, the context of health misinformation, the impact of health misinformation and responses/interventions to address health misinformation.

Clinical Trials

  • Duke University, in collaboration with the HHS Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ): Observational study. Disseminating NIH Evidence Based Sickle Cell Recommendations in North Carolina. Researchers seek child, adult and older adult volunteers with a diagnosis of sickle cell disease, as well as primary care and emergency department clinicians. Volunteers must be from North Carolina or Georgetown, SC and clinicians must practice in NC or SC. Study to be conducted at Community Care of North Carolina in Raleigh, NC. Learn more.

  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)/Office of Research and Development: Phase 1 and 2 clinical trial. Ketamine for the Rapid Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder and Alcohol Use Disorder. Researchers seek volunteers age 21-65 years old with a diagnosis of current major depressive disorder and alcohol use disorder symptoms. Study to be conducted at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System West Haven Campus in West Haven, CT. Learn more.
