March 10 is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that in 2016, 23% of all people living with HIV in the United States were women. According to CDC, 1 in 9 women living with HIV are unaware they have HIV.
