Our Promise During COVID-19: The Autism Society of America promises to remain committed to improving the lives of all affected by autism across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, and will focus on providing information, resources, and advocacy efforts to address these urgent needs. 
 

The Autism Society of America was the first national autism organization to respond to the COVID-19 crisis with a comprehensive toolkit of information and resources compiled by leading experts from our Panel of People on the Autism Spectrum and Panel of Professionals.
This week, we made updates to our resources for Mental Health, Education tips, and Modifying Routines. Access the toolkit now!

This week's Coronavirus Information Series featured Dr. Cathy Pratt discussing Mental Health & Co-Occurring Conditions, and the myHana guest, Dr. Jed Baker discussing Hope.

Yesterday, the CDC announced that the prevalence rate of autism in children is now 1 in 54, up from 1 in 59 in 2018. It is clear that our policymakers must respond to the additional service needs of the rising numbers of people with ASD. The Autism Society stands ready to assist federal, state and local policymakers to address the needs of individuals & families with autism.
