COVID-19 Toolkit Updates & Facebook Live Episodes

The Autism Society of America was the first national autism organization to provide immediate, and ongoing, support resources for the autism community during the COVID-19 crisis.

  • Our Public Policy team is providing recommendations to policy makers for the 4th stimulus package; urging for more funding for home & community based services.
  • 50k people have accessed the COVID-19 toolkit webpages.
  • 40k people have watched our Coronavirus Information Series & co-hosted Facebook Live with myHana.
  • Facebook Live: Coronavirus Information Series this Thursday, April 16th @ 1pm EST: "Preventing & Spotting Psychiatric Crisis" featuring Dr. Bennett Leventhal, Professor of Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry & Medical Director at UCSF Center for ASD.
  • Watch last week's episode with Dr. Robert Naseef where he taps into the autism community's strength to weather this storm, stating "we are stronger than we realize."
