Many of us have been home more than usual lately, with time on our hands and a kitchen close by. So, we have some helpful info on weight control.

 

We all know the basics: a healthy eating plan and regular physical activity. But people sometimes wonder whether complementary health approaches might provide additional help.

 

For dietary supplements, the answer is probably no. Research results haven't been promising, and some products marketed for weight loss may be fraudulent or unsafe. On the other hand, some mind and body approaches, such as mindful eating, may be useful as complements to other weight control interventions.
