In an article published today in Science, experts from NIH and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center write that developing multiple candidate vaccines for COVID-19 will be key to fighting the ongoing pandemic. This effort will require harmonious cooperation and transparency between the public and private sector, in order to develop, test, and produce sufficient quantities of new vaccine to fight the pandemic.
