Replenishing Beneficial Bacteria Prevents Recurring Bacterial Vaginosis, Study Shows

In a study published this week in The New England Journal of Medicine, NIAID-supported researchers found that an application of live beneficial bacteria could prevent this uncomfortable, painful condition from recurring.
