In 2019, 42 study sections were evaluated, including the Nursing and Related Clinical Sciences (NRCS) study section. The study section changes will be implemented for grant applications submitted for October 2020 grant deadlines and beyond, with the first reviews set for February 2021.

Nurse scientists on existing review panels will be reassigned, giving broader representation of nursing science across all study sections.

NINR will monitor the impact of these changes and continue to work with CSR to ensure the strength of nursing science application reviews. For additional information, please see our News and Notes article about these changes.
