Friday, December 11, 2020 Baricitinib Plus Remdesivir Shows Promise for Treating COVID-19 The results of a NIAID-supported study of baricitinib and remdesivir for treating patients hospitalized with COVID-19 were published today in the New England Journal of Medicine. The ACTT-2 study found that, overall, patients who received the combination of baricitinib tablets and IV remdesivir recovered faster and were in better condition than those who only received remdesivir.
