February is American Heart Month. This year, the theme is #OurHearts are healthier together, through the lens of self-care. In many ways, self-care is heart care. Taking time to be physically active, eating healthy meals, reducing stress, controlling high blood pressure, not smoking, and getting quality sleep can help protect your heart. Research also shows that having social support makes sticking to healthy habits easier.
