One Week Until Autism Acceptance Month

Autism Acceptance Month is just around the corner, and we invite you to join us in our mission to #CelebrateDifferences and promote acceptance alongside the autism community! This April will be dedicated to spreading our message of inclusion, where individuals with autism live fully through connection and acceptance. Join us in promoting acceptance as we create more opportunities for the autism community.

Last April, the Autism Society’s fundraising efforts were significantly impacted as the world stalled and support services stopped. The Autism Society of America was the first national autism organization to respond to COVID-19 with a comprehensive toolkit and valuable resources as the pandemic evolved. The Autism Society quickly adapted to virtual supports and provided resources like our COVID-19 Social Stories and weekly Facebook live series.

Help us #CelebrateDifferences by learning how you can be a sponsor of the Autism Society of America. These fundraising efforts will help us to promote acceptance and continue building a network of support for individuals with autism, throughout the pandemic and always.

Get Involved this April!

Kick-off Autism Acceptance Month on April 1st with our Facebook Live episode featuring autistic self-advocates, Anthony Ianni, Chloe Rothschild and Kris Guin, who will discuss the importance of acceptance, and how we can build a more inclusive society.

There’s no need to wait until April to donate. We encourage you to participate in fundraising efforts by setting up your own peer-to-peer fundraiser or Facebook fundraiser for the Autism Society to help us reach our $200,000 goal.

Our Promise During COVID-19: The Autism Society of America promises to remain committed to improving the lives of all affected by autism across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, and will focus on providing information, resources, and advocacy efforts to address these urgent needs.
