Triple your impact for Autism Acceptance Day! 🙌

Today is World Autism Acceptance Day

We invite you to make an impact in the autism community on World Autism Acceptance Day. From now until April 8th, all new donors and increased gifts will be TRIPLED thanks to our match partner Make Waves Family Foundation.

In 1972 the Autism Society of America founded “National Autistic Children’s Week” which has since evolved into a global movement for April to become Autism Awareness Month. Throughout our 56 year history, we have prided ourselves on being a leader, and our efforts this year include advocating for a federally recognized designation for April to become Autism Acceptance Month.

The last decade has seen a powerful trajectory as autism awareness has joined the national dialogue - but now, awareness is not enough. We must shift our message to inclusion, connection and acceptance, so that we can ignite change throughout industries and sectors affecting the lifespan of an autistic individual.
Your Gift Will Support the Autism Community
We are grateful that Make Waves Family Foundation has agreed to triple all new & increased giving donations dollar for dollar, up to $50,000; recurring donations will be matched 1:1. Donate today to make this most of this opportunity and TRIPLE your impact.
Join the movement, and help us raise $10,000 on Autism Acceptance Day to promote acceptance and connection for individuals with autism to live fully throughout all areas of their lives, including employment, housing, healthcare, human rights and more.
$25 provides one hour of support from the National Helpline.

$50 supports social story development for COVID-19 resources.

$100 goes towards federal advocacy efforts for human rights.

$250 supports national program development across our network including, employment, safety, and first responder training.

Join us today for World Autism Acceptance Day during our Facebook streaming event with the cast of Freeform's "Everything’s Gonna Be Okay.” Josh Thomas, Kayla Cromer, Maeve Press, Adam Faison, and Lillian Carrier will discuss how they celebrate differences for Autism Acceptance Month, and dish on their characters and future episodes. The cast will also offer a sneak peek into Season 2, which will air on Thursday, April 8th on Freeform.

Our Promise During COVID-19: The Autism Society of America promises to remain committed to improving the lives of all affected by autism across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, and will focus on providing information, resources, and advocacy efforts to address these urgent needs.
