Progress and potential: the Cancer Moonshot

Dr. Sharpless and Dr. Singer

NCI Director, Dr. Norman E. Sharpless, and NCI Deputy Director, Dr. Dinah S. Singer, have co-authored an article, "Progress and potential: the Cancer Moonshot," which was recently published in Cancer Cell. The article presents overarching reflections on these common thematic elements of the Moonshot and provides specific highlights of a few of the advances enabled by this investment.
