Dear Hcis,
Summer is the time when most kids look forward to playing outside, staying up late, going to summer camp, and having carefree days at home. Unfortunately, for some kids with autism, summer can cause a disruption of the schedule and structure that previously helped individuals and families feel safe and in control.
The Autism Society of America aims to consistently have updated resources, information, referrals, and support systems as you move through the year’s ever-changing landscape.
Our website provides digital resources at (www.autism-society.org), and our Information & Referral Specialists are available by phone Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (Eastern Time) at 800-3-AUTISM (800-328-8476) or by email at info@autism-society.org.
Thank you for being such a committed and generous donor to the Autism Society. Your contribution allows us to help individuals and families run towards their fears and find those opportunities masked as risks.
I hope you have a wonderful and joyous rest of your summer.
Sincerely,
