The NIH has awarded a total of $53 million to 10 institutions for HIV research through the expansion of its Martin Delaney Collaboratories for HIV Cure Research program. Two key focus areas are HIV cure research in children and training the next generation of HIV researchers. Another goal is to expedite HIV cure research by bringing together scientists from many backgrounds to share data, resources and methodologies. The program is named for the late Martin Delaney, an HIV/AIDS activist and member of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases AIDS Advisory Committee. https://bit.ly/3sngdSM Update your subscriptions, modify your password or e-mail address, or stop subscriptions at any time on your Subscriber Preferences Page.
