View as a webpage  /  Share August 18, 2021 Updates to the Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections in Adults and Adolescents with HIV The Panel updated the following section of the Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections in Adults and Adolescents with HIV.  Highlights from the section are summarized below: Human Papillomavirus Disease: New recommendation for cervical cancer screening to start at age 21 based on the HIV/AIDS Cancer Match Study with no reported cases of cervical cancer below the age of 25. The guideline tables and recommendations can also be downloaded as separate PDF files.
