Please join us virtually on Tuesday, November 2 at 1 p.m. ET for the lecture "Reading Between the Tweets: Social Technologies for Predicting and Changing Health Behavior" by Dr. Sean Young of the University of California, Irvine.

Social technologies—for example, social media, mobile apps, internet searching, and wearable sensors—and the data they produce are increasingly being used as tools in public health research and practice. Dr. Young will discuss how these technologies might be integrated into public health and surveillance efforts, drawing on his team's research in the areas of HIV, mental health and substance use disorders, car crashes, and COVID-19.

Dr. Young's lecture is part of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health's Integrative Medicine Research Lecture Series.
