New Cancer Moonshot Progress Video: Unleashing Comparative Oncology

Cancer Moonshot: New Video Series and Updates Last month, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) announced a new video series highlighting the progress that has been made through various Cancer MoonshotSM initiatives and programs - as told directly by Cancer Moonshot grantees.    These short videos provide an update that is accessible to many audiences, and will be shared in addition to the longer monthly scientific seminars available for the research community. New Video: Unleashing Comparative Oncology The second video of the series, Unleashing Comparative Oncology, features Dr. Nicola Mason of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. In the video, Dr. Mason describes using comparative oncology approaches to research immunotherapy in both dogs and humans. This progress is part of the PRE-medical Cancer Immunotherapy Network Canine Trials (PRECINCT) program, which addresses the Blue Ribbon Panel recommendation to Create an Adult Immunotherapy Network.
