Register for the Disability Policy Seminar Register now for the Disability Policy Seminar taking place Monday, March 28th through Wednesday, March 30th. This three-day federal legislative conference will strengthen your advocacy efforts to better serve those living in your community with developmental disabilities. The hybrid seminar will prepare you with an assortment of tools to advocate for issues that matter to you at the local, state, or federal level. Register Now March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month This month, we celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and Women's History Month where we share resources on Autism signs, screenings, and diagnosis. Specifically, we'll highlight some potential diagnostic differences for Autistic women, and ways to support. Our Public Policy resources provide information about the history of the DD Act as well. Did you know: Developmental disabilities are a group of conditions due to an impairment in physical, learning, language, or behavior areas that begin during the developmental period, which can affect certain areas of life and usually last throughout a person’s lifetime. Autism Society Inland Empire is featuring a webinar that will address Autism from a female perspective on March 19.  Autism Society Minnesota provides a monthly virtual education class on evidenced-based best practices to support people with Autism and sensory processing sensitivities.
