NIH is pleased to announce the publication of two new emergency funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) for Phase III of the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics – Underserved Populations (RADx®-UP) diagnostic testing initiative that will support community-engaged research focused on understanding and reducing the factors associated with disparities in COVID-19 morbidity and mortality for underserved and vulnerable populations. I highly encourage you to consider applying and sharing these opportunities with colleagues who may be interested: RFA-OD-22-005 Emergency Award: RADx®-UP – Social, Ethical, and Behavioral Implications (SEBI) Research on Disparities in COVID-19 Testing among Underserved and Vulnerable Populations will seek research to understand the social, ethical, and behavioral implications (SEBI) of COVID-19 testing in underserved and COVID-19 vulnerable populations. RFA-OD-22-006 Emergency Award: RADx®-UP Community Engaged Research on Rapid SARS-CoV-2 Testing among Underserved and Vulnerable Populations will support community-engaged and partnership-driven research to implement and evaluate SARS-CoV-2 rapid testing (e.g., antigen testing) among underserved and COVID-19 vulnerable populations.
