EJScreen is an environmental justice mapping and screening tool developed by EPA. It combines demographic data with environmental indicators, such as air quality and potential lead paint exposure. The Minority Health Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) was developed by the CDC and OMH in response to COVID-19, and it uses publicly available data to identify communities that face disproportionate risks during public health emergencies. | | | To learn more about the Minority Health SVI, read this fact sheet and watch our YouTube video introduction. To learn more about the EPA's EJScreen, sign up for a training session or view the User Guide.
