Help Us Create Connections

Autism Acceptance Month kicks off on April 1st and the Autism Society of America is working to #CelebrateDifferences all month to recognize the multitude of experiences within the Autism community.

Dear Hcis,

Connection has never been more important. Our community needs connection not only to resources and services, but also to each other. These times may feel uncertain. Global challenges, the shift of COVID-19 as endemic in our lives, and continued systemic issues in access to equitable health care, education, jobs, housing and more can feel overwhelming. But together, we can create a world where inclusion, connection and acceptance make a positive difference in the lives of Autistic individuals and their loved ones.

The Autism Society of America has been leading the charge to serve and advocate with the Autism community to ensure that everyone has the support they need, when they need it. We all need a support system, especially right now.

Your support will help us #CelebrateDifferences and create connections for individuals on the Autism spectrum. $25 provides one hour of support to an individual in need at our National Helpline. If you are able to, please give today, every bit makes a difference.

“Our son is 3 and a half years old and has been diagnosed with Autism. Our family wants to do everything we can to put him in a position to succeed in life. We need a lot of help. We are grateful for the Autism Society and are honored to be a part of this community.”

The Autism Society of America has been celebrating differences by highlighting the strengths, capabilities, and talents of Autistic individuals. By recognizing these differences, we promote acceptance and create connections within the Autism community.
