USAID Recognizes World Immunization Week

Yet, there are still nearly 23 million children in the world today who are not getting the vaccines they need. Many children have not been vaccinated during the global pandemic, leaving them at risk of serious diseases like measles and polio.  This year's World Immunization Week provides an opportunity to raise awareness and visibility for USAID's immunization investments across the lifecourse, and will highlight USAID's contributions to improve innovation, equity, and action for lifesaving vaccines around the world. Learn about the importance of vaccines and recognize World Immunization Week this year by: Engaging on social media using the hashtag #LongLifeForAll! Reading a blog about the world's first malaria vaccine Exploring how immunizations pave the way to a healthy future for all.
