For centuries, AA and NHPIs have shaped and strengthened the fabric of this nation. Yet many AA and NHPI communities continue to face barriers to prosperity and safety, including xenophobic violence, as well as the disproportionate health and economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This month, the HHS Office of Minority Health (OMH) will celebrate AA and NHPI communities' journey of resilience and pay tribute to generations of AA and NHPIs who paved the way for greater opportunity.
