Mental Health Awareness Month

Implementing the 988 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

Join us May 19th at 3pm EST, for this month's Community Connections: Mental Health & Implementing the 988 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This free, virtual Facebook Live event will feature:

  • Kim Musheno, Vice President of Public Policy, Autism Society of America 
  • Russell Lehman, Poet, Writer and member of Autism Society's Council of Autistic Advisors
  • Carlean Ponder, Director of Disability Rights and Housing Policy, The Arc

Together, they will discuss the intersections of the Autism community and mental health, the 988 Lifeline, and the additional supports needed.

Mental Health Awareness Month

Vaccine Education Initiative

Please join us for our Community Connections: Vaccine Education Initiative event on Friday, May 20th at 11 am EST with Dr. Peter Hotez, a vaccine scientist and Autism parent, and Dr. Emily Hotez, Developmental Researcher and Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCLA and sibling to an Autistic sister.
