| The White House will host a Cancer Moonshot Goals Forum today between 9:30 am – 12:00 pm that will be livestreamed at whitehouse.gov/live. The forum brings together leaders from the Cancer Cabinet and the White House to address cancer on multiple fronts. The private sector, foundations, academic institutions, healthcare providers, and the public will have the opportunity to discuss the most recent efforts to reduce the deadly impact of cancer and improve patient experiences in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survival across the seven pillars of how we know cancer today. During the event, Cancer Cabinet leaders will participate in fireside chats on driving innovation in prevention and therapies and preventing cancer. There will also be testimonials from people living with cancer, survivors, and caregivers focused on specific areas to prioritize progress. The forum follows last week's "Cancer Cabinet Community Conversations", a series of virtual events hosted by federal agencies and departments from the Cancer Cabinet. If you missed these discussions, you may view the NCI session here and the other sessions at: whitehouse.gov/ostp/events-webinars/past-events/. |
