We invite you to follow this five-part series to learn how they have continued to make positive impacts in the communities they serve during the COVID-19 pandemic. New blogs are posted each Wednesday throughout July and early August.   In the final blog in this series, published on August 3, 2022, Denise Octavia Smith, MBA, CHW, PN, founding Executive Director of the National Association of Community Health Workers (NACHW), discusses how NACHW's strategy and efforts have evolved throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including leveraging cultural and linguistic competency to address COVID-19 misinformation and addressing the lack of mental health resources for community health workers.
