September 1, 2022 Retirement symposium for Carmen Brewer set for September 30 On Friday, September 30, 2022, the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) will hold a symposium honoring Carmen C. Brewer, Ph.D., chief research audiologist of the NIDCD Audiology Unit. The half-day symposium will highlight the impact Dr. Brewer has had on research at the NIH and the contributions she has made to the audiology field. Dr. Brewer will retire in October.
