It’s a particularly important day for the Autism Society because our generous partner, Westfield Insurance, will match, dollar-for-dollar, every gift we receive up to $20,000.

In the United States, there are more than seven million people of all ages with Autism. We recognize, honor and celebrate differences and the unique offerings every individual has; together, we accept the diverse and varied experiences of the Autism community.
Unfortunately, systemic barriers, prejudice, and limited access to supports prevent many Autistic individuals to live as fully as they can.
That is why, with your help, we must advocate and provide far greater access to resources and assistance for everyone in the Autism community.
What’s more, we must vigorously promote the message that every person with Autism is unique and should be embraced for their perspectives and strengths.
Your investment will be put to immediate use by continuing to provide educational resources about Autism, ways to evaluate services and supports, and build connections. For example, we will:
- Continue to advocate for fundamental rights and increased funding at the national level.
- Extend our reach to address the urgent needs of the community, especially through our National Helpline—where we’ve seen a 200% increase in requests for help.
- Expand program development focused on inclusive employment, first responder training, and water safety and wandering.
