The study will be carried out at the Outpatient Clinic, School of Medicine, University of Puerto Rico, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Prospective Natural History Study of Smoking, Immune Cell Profiles, Epigenetics and COVID-19 This study, sponsored by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), seeks healthy individuals ages 30-55 who are current smokers, or non-smokers who may potentially contract COVID-19. The study will be carried out at the NIEHS Clinical Research Unit (CRU) in Triangle Park, North Carolina. | | | Workforce Development | 2023-2024 Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Minority Health Policy The one-year fellowship at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is for physicians from historically-marginalized groups who have completed residency in the United States. Fellows in the program will receive leadership training, mentoring from Harvard senior faculty, access to Harvard resources, and networking/career development.
