November is National Family Caregivers Month This November, our focus is on National Family Caregivers Month, holiday planning, and preparation for travel and social events. Our Public Policy resources include an overview of the American Rescue Plan, early intervention planning, and access to our Action Center. Did you know: 78 million family members in the US are providing unpaid care to children and adults? This month, the Autism Society is honoring caregivers nationwide who dedicate their time and resources to loved ones.  Access November Resources November 29th is Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving where millions of people support and advocate for the causes they connect to and care so much about. Please consider donating to the Autism Society this Giving Tuesday, so we can use your gift to support our ongoing efforts in the Autism community across the country. From educational resources, information and referral support, and federal advocacy efforts, your gift will make all the difference in helping Autistic individuals live fully with meaningful, inclusive opportunities. Give Today Affiliate Highlights Autism Society Ventura County hosts free virtual art classes with step-by-step instructions for kids, teens, and young adults with Autism every Tuesday.  Autism Society Central Ohio hosts Autism Open Mic on the second Sunday of each month as a community connection for individuals with disabilities to share their gifts on stage. Autism Society Greater New Orleans offers a Spanish-speaking caregivers support group that meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm Central Time.
