You are such an important connection, enabling people with Autism across the country to stay healthy, safe, and to thrive in the New Year. As we embark on a new year, help us expand our reach in 2023 to impact more lives in the Autism community.
An end-of-year gift will make such an impact—especially in helping us expand the reach of key programs. One of those is our Vaccine Education Initiative through which we are addressing systemic barriers in healthcare by providing education, provider training, and accessible vaccine clinics.
As a result, thousands of Autistic individuals, caregivers, and healthcare providers have received training and tools to create a supportive environment to provide vaccinations.
In the clinics and drive-through sites we’ve set up, we’ve seen a 99% success rate in vaccination. Here’s what one child with Autism told us after receiving his Covid-19 vaccine at one of our clinics:
“It made me feel a lot more like I was at a friend’s house rather than getting shot. I wish I could get all my vaccines moving forward like I did today.”
Never forget that you are an important connection for the Autism community. Your contribution helps us grow the movement to ensure that every person with Autism is seen and accepted.
