Please join us virtually on June 15 from noon to 1:15 p.m. ET, when Dr. Tonya M. Palermo of the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Seattle Children's Research Institute will present a talk on "New Insights Into Prevention and Management of Chronic Pain in Children and Adolescents."

In her talk, Dr. Palermo will provide an overview of factors important in childhood that may predict childhood pain as well as adult pain, health, and developmental outcomes. She will also discuss psychological interventions for pediatric pain that can be delivered virtually, highlighting the role of accessible digital health interventions for increasing access and equity in pain care.

Dr. Palermo's talk is the second in our spring 2023 Integrative Medicine Research Lecture Series. This series provides overviews of the current state of research and practice involving complementary health approaches and explores perspectives on integrative health.
