NIAM is an annual observance held in which healthcare professionals and community members can access important resources to learn more about essential vaccination practices. Staying up-to-date with your vaccines not only protects you from diseases, but it also protects your loved ones and community. Vaccines are not accessible to all, and that is why the Autism Society of America is rewriting the vaccine experience.

The Autism Society believes that improving the vaccination experience is a critical step towards achieving more equitable healthcare for people with Autism and all neurodiverse individuals.

As part of our strategic focus on health equity, the Vaccine Education Initiative (VEI) is a national program that addresses systemic barriers, while promoting vaccine education, confidence, and access through training healthcare workers, hosting accessible vaccine clinics, distributing resources, and more!

Through the VEI program, the Autism Society works with its nationwide affiliate network and healthcare partners to achieve national reach with local impact.
