This September, we highlight National Suicide Prevention Month, anti-bullying, navigating adult services, and Hispanic Heritage Month. Our Public Policy resources provide information on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), employment, and Medicaid school-based assistance.

Did You Know: Autistic individuals appear to have higher rates of suicidal thoughts, plans, or behaviors. Suicide risk may be 2 to 7 times higher than their neurotypical peers.

The Autism Society is proud to offer an Affiliate Emergency Relief Fund (AERF) for our network of 70 state-based affiliates who have been affected by emergencies or natural disasters. The fund will be distributed by the Autism Society to affiliates in need, and the use of funds will adhere to specific criteria for community use. Your support is needed to help our local affiliates support the individuals, families, and caregivers they serve.
