| The Autism Society's Vaccine Education Initiative (VEI) wanted to share more of our grassroots impact, reflecting our affiliates’ participation in the Aging and Disability Vaccine Collaborative (ADVC) in partnership with USAging and the Administration for Community Living.
In 2023, the Autism Society had the opportunity to build on our Vaccine Education Initiative (VEI): a national program focused on addressing barriers to healthcare, while promoting vaccine education, confidence, and access.
Since the beginning of the program, 19 Autism Society affiliates and community partners have been actively participating in the ADVC, and we proudly highlight the accessible vaccination, outreach, and education events they have shared with their communities!
Thank you to Mayank Amin, PharmD, RPh, MBA from Skippack Pharmacy, and immunization expert Mitchel Rothholz for their partnership with us through the Vaccine Education Initiative. These superhero pharmacists prioritize health equity by breaking down barriers, educating communities, and making vaccinations more accessible. |
