This March, we highlight Developmental Disabilities Month, signs and characteristics, ways to make informed decisions, and National Women’s History Month. Our public policy resources include two new action alerts, an employment testimony, upcoming March Primaries, election resources, and the Autism CARES Issue Brief.

Did You Know: About one in six children in the United States have one or more developmental disabilities or other developmental delays.

Access Resources

The Autism Society of America would like to congratulate Andrew Holdbrook, who has accepted the role of Wells Fargo's first Chief Accessibility Officer. This new role speaks to our partner's commitment to accessibility for their employees, customers, and communities. We look forward to continuing our work with Andrew and the Wells Fargo team.

The Autism Society of America and the Embassy of the State of Qatar's Fifth Annual Autism Gala will be held on May 15th, 2024, at 6:30 pm EST at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. Support from the gala will go towards expanding the Autism Society's Autism Justice Center, serving as a resource for Autistic individuals and family members against neglect and discrimination within the criminal legal system. Your presence will continue our efforts towards advocacy and equality within the Autism Community.
