Children with diabetes deserve the chance to thrive in the school environment and enjoy the same opportunities as their peers. $100 can make a difference.
Help children with diabetes stay safe and healthy in school.
Friend,
As children head back to school this fall, the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) is at the forefront of advocating for diabetes care in every school setting, including field trips, sports and clubs, and other school-sponsored activities. Managing diabetes is a round-the-clock effort, and it’s critical for children to receive the care they need when they are away from their parents/guardians.
As children embark on the new school year,
your support can make a significant difference in their lives.
A donation of $100, through our Safe at School® initiative, could help us ensure the diabetes management needs of up to 14 children are met so they are healthy, safe, and able to enjoy the same opportunities as their peers at school. Friend, can they count on your support?
Donors like you play a vital role in supporting ADA initiatives like Safe at school which offers essential training resources to educate school staff on how to provide the necessary care to students with diabetes. It also teaches parents how to advocate on behalf of their child if they feel they are not receiving the proper care.
A donation from you, any amount, will advance this ADA initiative and others like it that support adults and kids with diabetes and their caregivers.
