Today is #GivingTuesday — a global day of giving— and our generous friends at Westfield Insurance have agreed to match your gift to the Autism Society dollar-for-dollar.

Dear Hcis,

Two urgent things I want to share with you today....

Today is #GivingTuesday — a global day of giving— and our generous friends at Westfield Insurance have agreed to match your gift to the Autism Society dollar-for-dollar. Will you help the Autism Society reach its #GivingTuesday goal and double your gift right now?

Make Your Gift
Our Gifts of Acceptance campaign highlights diverse, personal, stories from the Autism community to inspire action.

Our Gifts of Acceptance campaign highlights diverse, personal, stories from the Autism community to inspire action. Gifts of Acceptance are opportunities for inclusion, supports, services, and the right to live fully. These gifts include our work in creating accessible healthcare for Autistic individuals.

Healthcare is a basic human right. Yet, for many in the Autism community, it remains inaccessible. Together, we can break down these barriers and create a world where healthcare meets the needs of everyone—regardless of ability.

There's a reason why our disabled population gets so sick, sicker then they need to be, because we have health care facilities that don't know how to address their needs.” LaShell, Parent of Autistic son.

In 2024, your support helped us make incredible strides:

  • Trained over 8,000 healthcare providers to deliver inclusive, trauma-informed care.
  • Distributed 40,000 accessible healthcare kits to hospitals, clinics, and community health centers nationwide.
  • Partnered with healthcare leaders to advocate for sensory-friendly spaces, improved communication tools, and best practices to ensure Autistic individuals receive the care they deserve.

These initiatives ease sensory sensitivities, reduce anxiety, and empower communication for Autistic patients—making healthcare experiences more comfortable, respectful, and supportive.

With your support, we’re paving the way for accessible healthcare nationwide. In 2025, we’ll expand resources, enhance training, and strengthen partnerships to bring inclusive practices to even more healthcare settings.

Today and throughout this giving season, we are so grateful for your continued generosity and support.

Thank you for all you do!
