Advocate for your needs this May.

Autism Acceptance Month is almost here!
Autism Is Acceptance

Throughout Autism Acceptance Month, we celebrated the powerful stories, voices, and lived experiences of the Autism community. From self-advocates to parents, professionals, and allies, each story reminded us that Autism Is not one thing—it is many things. It’s acceptance. It’s resilience. It’s creativity. It’s identity. It’s community.

While April is over, our commitment continues. Together, we’re building a more inclusive world where every Autistic person is fully supported, celebrated, and accepted. Let’s keep the momentum going!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Health, mental health and well-being are an essential part to living fully. Autistic individuals are significantly more likely to experience mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. The Autism Society is committed to providing accessible, inclusive support. Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or someone you care about, explore trusted resources to find support that’s right for you!
