Fight Misinformation. Support Inclusive Healthcare Access Today.

I’m writing to you not only as the Chair of the Autism Society’s Board of Directors, but as someone who has lived this—as a mother, as an advocate, and as part of a community where many rely on Medicaid to survive.

Dear Hcis,

Vaccine misinformation is not just dangerous, it’s deadly. It spreads fear, fuels distrust, and threatens the health and safety of our communities. And for Autistic and neurodiverse individuals, the stakes are even higher.

At the Autism Society of America, we believe that healthcare must be safe, accessible, and inclusive — especially when it comes to life-saving vaccines.

That’s why we urgently need your support. Your donation TODAY helps us continue our work to:

  • Train healthcare providers across the country on how to communicate with empathy, clarity, and respect to Autistic, IDD, and neurodiverse patients.
  • Develop and distribute accessible vaccine education resources that address the unique needs and concerns of our community.
  • Support your family by: Countering dangerous misinformation with facts, compassion, and voices from lived experience.
  • Advocate for research and policies that uphold public health, scientific integrity, and health equity for all.

We have already trained hundreds of providers across the country, and the impact and need are real. But the fight is far from over.

With vaccine skepticism on the rise and public health increasingly politicized, your support is more vital than ever.

Together, we can create a future where Autistic individuals receive the care they deserve — where fear is replaced with facts, and inclusion is the standard, not the exception.

Will you stand with us?

Donate now to protect health, dignity, and access for all.
