The blog discusses the importance of maintaining the separation of the Asian and Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander (NHOPI) ethnicities in distinct categories. Lusi highlights President Biden's Proclamation on Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month, 2021 and provides considerations for those that are working to improve health in AAHOPI communities.
